Friendly Disruption is a monthly (most months anyways) education podcast that focuses on accessibility in our classrooms. The podcast was started in early 2017 by Craig Barnum and Maggie Pickett. In late 2017 they were joined by Patrick Donovan.
- Mr. Barnum is a certified K-12 teacher. He earned a BS in Elementary Education and English with an endorsement in secondary education from Mt. Mercy College in 1992. This broad range of licensure gave him the unique experience of leading regular ed classrooms at the elementary, middle school, and high school levels. In 1998 he received an MA in Instructional Technology from the University of Northern Iowa. In 2009, he completed his Educational Specialist degree, Ed.S, from Drake University. Mr. Barnum has been the Director of Technology and Information Services at College Community Schools since 1999.
- Patrick Donovan is currently a Technology Integrationist at Ames High School in Ames, IA. He has previously taught science courses in both the high school and middle school levels. He has a Masters in Curriculum and Instructional Technology from Iowa State University. He is a Google Certified Trainer and Innovator.
